Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim

Tell the world what you think about the latest Xbox 360 releases

Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim

Postby Bob on Tue Oct 04, 2011 8:09 am

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim may not be out until 11th November, but its Achievements list has already leaked. The PS3 Trophies will presumably be the same.

For those who wish to remain completely unspoiled, take heed - the list below, dug up by Xbox360Achievements, contains mild spoilers.

A number of Achievements are doled out for story progression, as well as joining factions such as the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood.

There are Achievements for activities such as buying a house, getting married and escaping jail, plus the usual role-playing fare of discovering locations, completing side-quests and absorbing dragon souls. Mmm, dragon souls.

The game's highest achievement is a 50G prize for your character reaching level 50, which isn't a level-cap, merely a milestone.

This is another must-have for me, but seriously this year's holiday season is insane as far as new releases are concerned. Between 360, PS3, Wii, DS and 3DS there's literally no way I can afford everything I want this year.

Or find the time to play em all.

Exactly! On 360 alone this year I've already got Deus Ex and Gears 3 on the go. But there's also Dead Island, Arkham City, Elder Scrolls V, Rage, Sonic Generations, Battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3, Crysis, Forza 4, Spider-Man: Edge of Time, Rayman Origins, Halo Anniversary, Assassins Creed Revelations, Saints Row 3, Serious Sam 3, Jurassic Park... and that's just off the top of my head!! On one console! And Elder Scrolls V alone will eat hundreds of hours.

I need a lottery win and a time machine and I need them fucking pronto.

The cash shouldn't be a problem with the trade in plans.. but the time is going to be difficult!

Still have to pre-order this, get Rage when it's cheap and Dark Souls as soon as I can for something to tide me over!

There are 3 gameplay demo vids on xbl. Bleak Falls Barrow (2nd achievement on the list) is on gameplay demo 2.

Massive improvement over Oblivion's dungeons.

One thing that suddenly popped into my head, is that I wonder if the dragons in this game will become the new Oblivion gates?

I so want all of these. The Oblivion ones were not that hard as they just required doing stuff u did anyway.

If you blast straight through the main quest and ignore everything else...

I assume having a hand in developing the game helps also!

They do indeed, I should of copied and pasted on the first post -
As detailed over on the Bethesda Blog, a representative from Bethesda QA - Sam Bernstein - took on a rep from the development team - Jeff Browne - in a speed run contest to celebrate the game heading off to retail.
