is that how you felt my 4 knifes in one round? :D

tomorrow night could be good for mass murdering all the non-premium people on close quarters for the first time with no map awareness running all over the place and getting lost ha ha ha

No map awareness and trying to get the assignments...

SEE !!???!! This is why i haven't been back to BF3 for about 2 month. I know this would happen... !!!

I miss Bf3... sniff...

Whoever thought Gun Master was a good game mode, should probably fuck off.

I got the top 4 finish for the assignment and I doubt I'll ever play it again now.

After playing CQ Dom for a while going back to the normal games seems a bit... er... slow.

Definitely. I've been playing loads of CQ Dom and Donya and Zimba (That the right names?) and the larger maps seem a bit dull now. :(

i'm the opposite really. i jumped back on to the old maps to try and the the squad repairs and loved the change in pace. i have been hammering the new dlc lately and loving it but getting back on to the old maps with all the vehicles was good fun.

it's great now that we have so much options available, conquest, rush, team deathmatch, conquest domination and em gun master and also great we can play on the old maps, kharkand and the new close quarters maps. so much choice and still 3 more dlc on the way

awesome

It was an alright idea, but in practise it's not great. If you want to play a certain map on a certain game mode you'll struggle - admins realised quickly that your server will be empty unless it has relatively popular settings. So if you fancy a spot of squad rush on one of the less popular maps then you're out of luck. Then, as the article highlights, there's a problem with tyrannical server owners. To be fair, in my humble opinion, if someone is paying their own money to host a public server then they should be able to do whatever they want in it (within reason). The fault is Dice's for not providing enough servers of their own.

I'm actually an admin of a server that a group of chaps I play with own which we occasionally use to play other clans. To make the server private the room has to be empty, meaning you have to kick 24 people if you want to play a clan match on the server you're paying for. Cue a dozen messages calling you names and threatening to murder your family.

EDIT: Wasn't thinking and used some strong language there.

There are still quite a few DICE servers about. A quick search for "DICE" on the server browser will soon pull them all up. Just be sure to check that the server owner is DICE though.

Having said that, I've found a few servers that are run reasonably with no stupid rules and have a good mix of map selection/game type. They all get added to my favourites so I can always go straight back to them.

I only ever got banned once. It was a "Knife only server" and I wondered how long it would take to get booted if I ran around shooting people with the Lsat... The answer was not very.. A lot of these power mad admins will soon find their servers running empty.

Oh, and those "Battlefield Friends Forever" videos are all hilarious. Especially the "Silent Sniper" episode.

Hmmm... I hadn't heard.

Maybe I'll try it tonight on, er, Grand Bazaar... See if I can't get 23 kills for just 3 deaths.
