I thought the second visit to Dead City was pretty pointless, apart from that (and the fetch quests at the start) the missions have been excellent.

I don't have a problem with it coming out this late. It has rejuvanated my love for the game.

So many people complain that dlc comes out too early and now people are complaining this has came out too late.

I personally feel this is something they've done as an aside to working on doom 4 (which i imagine will be using the same engine) and they've just put it out there as an aside which the true rage lovers will enjoy and the rest will ignore.

I don't think id are worried about the sales as they've released it pretty cheap rather than charging 1000pts for something already on disc.

Still got my copy kicking about somewhere and there seems to be a good whack of extra content for 400 points.... colour me tempted.
