This is what I felt most of the way through. What it's missing is a skill tree and XP. But then it would be either a Borderlands OR Fallout clone, and not really getting close to either.

Can someone tell me where to find Marshall in Subway Town?

I've just completed 'Price of Power' and I'm supposed to find him in the resistance base.. but I've no idea where that is.. the hub towns are a joke.

Head back to the garage. Near the door where you would typically grab your car and exit to the wasteland, turn right to the empty vehicle bay. A lift should raise up that will take you below where the base is.

Wow. Thanks fella. How was I supposed to know that? Lol.

I'm quite enjoying the gun/wingstick play but the mechanics are rusty.

After purchasing this on day one, playing it for about 3-4 hrs then forgetting about it, i came back to it after reading these posts and decided to try it on NIGHTMARE difficulty. More or less sailed through the first few sections, then CAN'T ....repeat........ CAN NOT get past 'Mutant Bash TV' for the sponsorship. Any tips on tactics, weapon selection, anything would be a massive help. Otherwise, enjoying it again...

My tip would be not to play it on "nightmare" mode but then I'm a big jessie. And anyway, you asked the question the best part of two months ago so I suppose it's not the most timely response.

Anyway, I'm mainly resurrecting this thread because I've had quite a bit of fun with this over the Bank Holiday weekend. I was finding it a bit on the tricky side before realising that the best strategy is to use standard weaponry as little as possible, because it does bugger all - you need those Pop Rockets and Fat Mammas! Generally speaking in most games I try to hoard better stuff in case there's nasty shit ahead, but it seems as though in this game you're better off crafting loads of the good stuff because standard ammo doesn't have any effect at all.

Cheers for the reply. In all honesty, not went back to this game since I posted this thread. I may have even traded it. Can't remember. lol.

So played a few hours of this, and although the shooting is very good I have found that it hasn't grabbed me as yet. I think I'm a bit fed up of the go here-fetch/kill this-come back quests. I'll stick with it tho as I have been told it does get better ron.

Started to get into this a wee bit now. Just done some good levels. The shrouded base where you have to destroy the RC bomb caches. RC bombs rule. And I have just finished Dead City, which was awesome. I'm finding that I am using a lot of different weapons and gadgets for different situations. A lot of games in the past are guilty of letting you use one or two weapons to blaze through the game. I think the driving is better than in Borderlands, I seem to remember the steering to be too loose for me. Tis pretty much spot on in Rage.

I got it a while ago but only started playing it a few days back. Really enjoying it too. As a shooter it's fantastic, everything is so smooth and fluid, plus the A.I. is pretty good and there's plenty of weapons to keep things varied. Quite enjoying the vehicles as well, pretty solid mechanics which you don't always get with shooters.

The only thing that I would have liked is for the world to be a bit more open and explorable. Everytime I've went to some random location I've not been able to do it because I'm missing an item or I've not got far enough in the story. It's a shame because I really like driving around, fighting off bandits. apart from that though, it's great at the moment.

Am I the only one that really hated this? It felt like it had just nicked bits from other games and when they were all together it didn't really work.
