cool just send me a friend request and we can get the missions done, nightmare setting should be interesting

i thought getting the acheivement for winning a public race would be easy but there's people on there that must be playing it constantly which is a pleasant surprise

how long did it take you wolf? i've got a stack of 7 games from 2011 that i want to get through before 3rd feb when the decent games of 2012 break and i quite fancy playing though rage again on nightmare, what i might do this time round though is just dip into it now and then and take my time with it, we'll see

I dunno, it took me a couple of weeks but that's playing a hour or two here and there... I really couldn't say for sure.

I know I wouldn't have enjoyed rage as much on an easier difficulty

I picked this up this week for £10 from Morrisons - bargain.

Although the CO-OP 2 on the back is a bit cheeky since its only for specific co-op missions. I wanted a Halo type experience with a buddy. Oh well.

Where are the 'Mega-Textures'?

I installed the game and it looks nice, but not Mega nice.

This seems fun enough, although it is just a grumpy Borderlands.

Yeah.. it's a bit like saying Uncharted is like Tomb Raider.

They're both set in a wasteland.

Apart from that they're literally nothing a like.

Erm, okay then.

1) Thy're both set in the wasteland
2) They're both FPS
3) You fight big muthafucking monsters in both
4) There's a lot of driving about in a buggy in both
4.5) Both sets of buggies have a boost mechanic
5) The shooting mechanics are pretty much the same
6) All the quests are nigh on exactly the same
7) There's lots of crazy bandits that run at you with bits of metal in both
8) They both have a job board
9) The whole coming back to life after dying thing
10) The shop system
11) Both developers said they drew inspiration from Mad Max didn't they?
12) The selection of crazy guns, ammo types
13) The looting is quite similar

I could go on but I feel I've made my point. I'm not saying Rage is bad, I'm enjoying it. But it does play very similar to Borderlands. A bit like Uncharted does to Tomb Raider.

I'd expect an Emo to make lazy comparisons.

You might as well add
14) they're both video games issued on that popular DVD format and they come in green cases (if you buy it on 360).

Really, if your taste in terrible tattoos wasn't proof enough you are an idiot.
