Just got this.

2 things...1) its funny, though not always intentionally 2) the combat is a bit clunky to get to grips with.

It gets better as you upgrade the gun. I think. I enjoyed it. It's very Resi 4.

Ok...im on the sideways scrolling shooter level and its perfectly capturing the essence of the game, i.e great ideas and occasionally very funny, let down by quite frankly, a shonky last-gen control system that sometimes drowns the fun out of the game.

Plus im sure the devs find it funny but after the 75th time of Garcia shouting "taste my big boner!" on the godawful cannon level, i was crying inside.

Rest has been pretty fun though.

Finished this the other day and I loved it, it's so utterly ridiculous and full of charm. I think the best way to describe it is a hack and slash adventure in the form of a third person shooter which works pretty well. I loved the world and the characters, everything was just so well constructed and the chemistry between Johnson and Garcia is fantastic.

When it comes to the actual gameplay it's good even if the only advancement is new weapons. Most of the boss fights were pretty fun though and the weapons keep things interesting. It was a bit short but I think it's probably best it ended before it dragged on. Overall though it's a great game.

Playing through it again on the hardest difficulty now.
