Take for e.g Akuma and his teleport/black screen of death special. In SFII you really have to anticipate it but in this the whole camera pans and everything. AKuma's special is easy to get out of so you could just hammer the 'up' button in order to escape.

see this vid at about 1.30 and you can see the Raging Demon done off a focus attack dash cancel. I'm pretty sure it can be comboed off other moves too.

It might seem obvious, but if you look at most new people's match they spend half the time jumping around to close the distance.

Love the 'Fight your Rival' part of the game.

Played against Zangief not long ago, what a pain in the a$$ stupid joke just keeps on 360 piledriving me, did about 4 in a row which killed me, was trying to stay away but he can be quick wen he wants to be.

I got the specials sorted any idea how you do the Ultra's Tim?

EDIT: Just found out

Gash! How does Rose pan out in SFIV, has she changed much from Alpha? She will probably be my main in SFIV if she plays anything like she used to

Her launcher has been removed apparently. I didn't use her much ever.

I always found her the most interesting character to play, and seeing as she was underplayed, no one really knew what to do against her. soul spark!!!

Got it!! Just had a quick game! WHAT A GAME!

Everything from the intro sequence to the short anime clips before the Arcade mode starts for each character, they are all done incredibly well. The ingame graphics are top notch, i'm loving this... it's like playing a vastly improved SF II.

I think it is a great idea to include Challenger style gameplay whilst playing through Arcade mode, so anyone on XBL can effectively interrupt your gameplay for a scrap (you can switch it off) so it feels very arcadey.

You up for a game later Tim?

It isn't that responsive unfortunately, i'm getting a stick tomorrow though.

You can use the controller but to pull off a throw (which is LP & LK pressed together) you get your fingers in a twist. I like to have MP&K & HP&K as the four main buttons.

Also when playing as Ryu or Ken, you try a fireball you invariably do a Dragon Punch instead.
