Postby Septic on Wed Feb 11, 2009 2:56 pm

THis comes out on the day of my last exam! Woohoo! I checked the calender at the back of the mag :P

Add my GT Tim meister if you're free....trust me, having played SF2 Turbo REmix to death, you are in for a match.

Honestly people....aside from Tim who scares me with his addictive SF4 ramblings...I challenge anyone on this forum at SF4.

BRING IT ON! HADOUKEN!

But you're forgetting. No matter how good you think you are, no matter how much you've practised, somebody mashing on the controller will always beat you.

Yeah, that's not true, you just have to block until they inevitably mess up. It's something I've noticed playing against people here and how much of Abel's moves get beaten by Ryu/Ken. But mashers are always on the attack so you just wait it out of focus cancel and batter them.

I've always been a Ryu/Ken man, harking back to the original SF2 in the arcade.

Just hoping the moves are the same so I can spam my way to victory! :D

Oh - yeah these are from the Japanese arcade version, they're the 'proper' way round on the PAL and US console versions.

Ok, really starting to piss me off now.

Some of the characters just seem so overpowered.

The fat twat Rufus is just so fast you can barely land a blow and Viper has a move where she can slap the ground and do you damage from the other side of the fecking screen.

Just doesnt work properly on the 360 controller. A perfectly timed counter can be ruined when your Dragon Punch turns into a fecking jump!

Septic: Game on!

Tim: I'm gonna mop the floor with you as cheap Ken.

I've already pre-ordered this and can't wait.

Man I've been watching the vids for this and it just seems so slow compared to SF2. I wish there was a way to ramp up the speed.

The jumping seems awkward and the spinning kick of the Shoto chars seem too brief.

Mind you...I haven't played it so I'll take Tim's word for it.

Its more than fast enough mate.

The computer controlled characters cover the distance between so quickly and the shitty controls dont allow you to compensate. Its becoming very, very frustrating
