Insanitys not that hard so long as you do it on a 2nd play though.

Don't play it on a new character.

just got back into this and have fallen back in love with it, the dlc's have been bought now.

the thief one was a bit short for a dlc, how longs the other one?
Of course, as ever, this is purely my opinion

Overlord is the longest DLC yet. It's also the best i think.

Currently playing this through on Insanity, (i have carried over a previous profile) its tough!! very unforgiving, but incredible rewarding. I playd one simple side mission last night & by the end of it i thought i'd just had the war of the worlds!!, fcuk knows how im gonna get through some of the later bit with the harvesters!!?...Can you play the overlord DLC once your already in a game? does it just appear as a new planet or quest?

yup. it just slots into a new game.

The hardest thing about insanity for me was the YMIR mechs and the Praetorians. The Scions was a bit of a pain too, but the "easy button" for ME2 on insanity is the Sniper Rifle. Especially if you have cloak and the anti material rifle.

Sounds like the first Mass Effect 2 DLC I'll be playing.

Looking forward to it.

The shadow broker wasn't what i was expecting...

The files you get at the end are interesting too.

Overlord was a decent length, but I'm assuming Lair of the Shadow Broker is considerably longer considering it's a 1.5GB download. I'm looking forward to getting stuck into it tomorrow after I go through DA:O's Witch Hunt.

Just finished Witch Hunt and it's easily the best DLC add-on for DA:O, excluding Awakening. All of its locations are re-used from other bits of the game, but it's a substantial length - it took me around 2 hours to finish, and there's stuff I need to go back and find - and unlike stuff like Darkspawn Chronicles it actually promises answers to stuff you want to know and feels like you're working toward something rather than just battering wave after wave of enemies. Having said that, it might promise all the answers, but it doesn't necessarily give them all; that's maybe something Dragon Age II will provide.

Still, Morrigan's in it, and she's one of my favourite characters in DA:O.

Lair of the Shadow Broker = very good. As Wolf said, some of it was unexpected; Liara's "new status" being one thing. All in all, best ME2 DLC yet.

Anybody know if Bioware will be doing the same with Mass Effect as they did with DA:O by releasing an ultimate edition that contains all the DLC?
That's how I got the Dragon Age DLC due to lack of online!
