OKAMI To get HD Treatment!

In a post on the PS Blog, Capcom has confirmed an HD version of Okami is headed to the European and US PlayStation Network.

The remastered PS3 title will include support for PlayStation Move controls and trophies.

The US release hasn’t been priced, but the EU PS Blog suggests a £15.99/€19.99 price tier.

Andriasang reports Japan will receive a physical release but other territories are still to be confirmed.

Okami released in 2006 and was immediately lauded for its aesthetic and gameplay, but failed to sell strongly. It was followed by a DS sequel last year.

I'm playing the DS sequel at the moment and it's charming.

I'd download that cos it was wonderful (as far as I got.... it kind of coincided with me getting a 360 so) and Move would really bring the painting to life.. but fuck me how long would it take to download?

Was really in the mood to play this recently and I would have ordered the PS2 version is Conker had given me back my PS2 power brick last time I seen him I'll definitely be getting this though. I'm gonna have an abundance of points when my 4200 finally arrive but even then, I might get it on PS3 down to having more space. Plus, I think I'd prefer to play it on PS3 because it's a PS2 game to me (I know it's a bit weird but I'm like that Same reason I bought FFXIII on PS3).

There's no word of it coming to 360.

So that could be decision made... It was a PS2 exclusive... until the Wii version.

Should have read it properly heh. Forgot about the Wii version as well, always thought that it'd play really well with the Wiimote.
