But, I saw the stand in HMV today too and i remember thinking...i havent even seen a feckin screenshot yet. This cant be the way to make games ...a release date before any screenshots released.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will include a Colour Blind Assist option, Sledgehammer Games has confirmed.
Michael Condrey, VP and COO of Sledgehammer Games, wrote on the Sledgehammer website that nearly a million gamers play Call of Duty every day with Colour Vision Deficiency.
"I am happy to report that we are working on a Colour Blind Assist option for Modern Warfare 3," he wrote.

While not important to most gamers, My son is colour blind and I can sometimes see the frustration in him while playing games, I know there is not much game developers can do to help with this problem but I am glad they are acknowledging the problem.

I wonder if they'll have fully customizable button layouts, i've seen a fair few requests for that for handicapped people.

Infinity Ward's creative strategist Robert Bowling has said that there will be no Commando perk in Modern Warfare 3.

Commando, a perk in Modern Warfare 2 that increases your melee range, is loathed and loved by those taking the punishment and those dishing it out respectively.

But Robert Bowling, replying to a question on Twitter about the future of melee in Modern Warfare 3, said that "Commando is no longer in the game".

This may come as a blow to those of you that enjoyed cutting some other fool without having to actually go near him. But it should make Modern Warfare 3's multiplayer a more restrained, civilized affair, especially given
Bowling's other comments that the multiplayer is going to feel more like Call of Duty 4 than Modern Warfare 2.

Shame he's given feck all other info. I watched an interview the other day with him and he said " we can't comment on that" to half of the questions.
Seems very funny to me just how little info they've given out so far.
He did confirm QuickScoping is still in,despite the fact that probably 80% of people playing COD hate it. The other 20% are 12 year old kids that run around QSing. Ace!
