Just started up again, due to the huge dirth of good titles around. Am enjoying it but boy, its punishing... takes a good 5 hours to get back into swing of it and not be cannon fodder.

I've started playing a lot of MW2 again, and I'm enjoying it greatly. It's nice to play something so dumb.

Yeah the maps are utter tosh, especially all the snow ones. There's only a very select few I like (oddly enough the ones most similar to the original MW maps) but when it works it works.

It's fun online, I never played past MW2 though so I presume they're all just the same from here on in? Didn't fancy paying an extra 22 quid or something for the same game.

Funnily enough the one I spent most time on was BlOps which had some nice maps.. although maybe that was just cos I played it so much I learnt some tactics.. Never really tried much with MW3.

Yeh Gug, MW2 is maybe the smoothest game online, and grahpoically is much better than Blops, with less lag. But its also a lot trickier.

Blops like Bob says is more fun, more forgiving, has better maps, etc. For example i turned it on after 5 weeks and came top the other day (and im not particulary good). Can be laggy but has improved since MW3 came on scene and all the CoD heads have moved onto that.

Interestingly most of the new DLC maps for MW3 are superb and a return to form for them. Shame they dont alaways come up that often.

I'm in the minority that feels Blops was the best of the recent Cods for online multiplayer. Admittedly it did have a bit of an issue with lag, but as for the actual gameplay, I felt it was the most balanced (excluding the FAMAS) and fun since Cod4.

You really arnt mate, most people i know think Blops is the best.

That said ill agree that thanks to the new packages, MW3's perks are really well balanced. Plus Kill Confirmed is an ace idea.

The maps in MW2 are awesome. MW3 maps suck arse and most of them are complete cluster fucks.
I'm still playing Blops and really enjoy it.

The MW2 maps arnt that much cop either if you ask me. Blops really nailed the great maps.

The MW3 DLC maps are suprisngly good though, some corkers in there.

I ve never eaten a dog shit sandwich but I know it tastes bad.

Having said that, this does sound like the best SP since MW1, which isn't saying much.

It's an invalid opinion until you've tried it.

I'm always finding things that I didn't like that I do when I try it.
