I like the current system of almost completely disregarding a game's online side and focussing purely on the offline stuff in the reviews section of 360, as I don't play online. So if a game gets a glowing review in the reviews section, I know that it in know way is influenced by the online stuff that I'll never experience.
You mean like another Xbox mag banging on about Battlefield Bad Company 2 being so orgasmic and quite obviusly meaning its online play rather than SP campaign. Side point , sorry - As a non-XBL user at mo, im fed up to the back teeth of developers giving me the bloody short straw on stuff like this. I can understand online play represents a good portion of the game for some people. BUT a 5-6 hour campaign like BC2with minimum re-play factor and no local multiplayer or extras is still not acceptable for a full price game IMO. Sort it out developers!
As for the original point, i think you made a good one there Ven, id agree wholeheartedly.
