DLC Page

Postby gazoway on Thu May 06, 2010 6:27 pm

It would be nice to have a page that listed the dates that DLCs for games are going to be released and a quick description of what it is going to be. I would really appreciate a quick reference guide, with a star rating of whether it is worth its money. Maybe it could replace the 'How to dress' page, I really don't understand the point of that page.

You know, that's a good idea. I do find it hard to keep up with what DLC might be around for me games (there is the "new" (i.e. it used to be on the blades but vanished with NXE) screen on Live that shows DLC for the games you have played, but it misses half the games I have played and tries to get me to buy MW2 map packs).
If in doubt, put the kettle on.

Thankyou Clowntrousers. They could make a pullout A3 size poster in the middle of the magazine, which would cover the following 2 months releases. Maybe if they are feeling generous, they could throw in a free fridge magnet and highlighter pen.

Our Marketplace pages in the mag cover the very best of DLC available anyway, and you may or may not have noticed by now that the 360 blog - http://www.360magazine.co.uk - is now ENTIRELY geared towards Xbox Live coverage - a combination of spot reviews, weekly roundups and a list of the best things to buy each week should fill you in about anything and everything that's out there and any good.

For wider listings from the dim and distant past, why not just select the game in question on XBLA and check what DLC you can get for it? S' easy. I can't even begin to imagine how ugly a dense, spreadsheet-style list on page listing all the DLC ever would actually look. Horrendous is probably the answer.

So hit the blog, guys. And try to beat us at Asteroids Deluxe IF YOU DARE

Well thats me told lol. I think i'm going to cut out the marketplace pages and put them in a folder. It may have been reviewed, but if I don't play the game until 6 months down the line, I'm not going to remember if it was given 1 star or 5. Hell, I can't even remember what my wife said 5 minutes ago.

Here is another idea. What about a DIY page. That shows different problems which could occur with the your 360 and what the best solution would be. You could have three columns. One, throw it in the bin. Two, have a go yourself, because if it is something fairly simple, you dont want to pay someone £60. Three, send it away. With a list of cheap reputable repairers.
