Oh, and Tim: set an example please. The magazine states that readers should head over to the forum and have their say, and when someon does you make them real unwelcome? That's a great way to bring in new members who could potentially contribute to the magazine, which something it seems to be heavily reliant on; without all the forumite quotes it would be a hell of a lot thinner.

Just because he types and spells like a mouth breather doesn't mean he doesn't have a good point. It was obvious - to me anyway - what he meant, and the "recommended" section does need updating more often, which is something I've brought up before.

And there are good games on the Wii.

Lol - viva la resistance for noobs! Huzzah for us.
Tks VA

Ye the recommended section sucks - did you know that the xbox 360 elite is quite good. I assume its really just 6 pages of adverts and it keeps the games companies sweet.

I dont have a wii - stupid expensive nintendo (i know its still the cheapest console, but it aint compared to quality or the amount of times the others have gotten cheaper)

I'm sorry (actually I'm not) but Tim, you cannot say there are no good games on the Wii. Obviously you are exaggerating but in all honesty, there are plenty of decent-to-great games on that little console.
Super Mario Galaxy, Zelda Twilight Princess, WarioWare, Wii Sports Resort, Smash Bros Brawl, Metroid Prime 3, Mario Kart Wii, to a certain extent No More Heroes and Madworld, the best version of Resi 4, Okami (yes PS2 port ok) and of course Family Party: 30 Great Games Outdoor Fun.
Alright perhaps not the last one (which is real btw) but the problem is the sheer magnitude of the trash that appears on the console that clouds the eyes of all but the Nintendo fanboys and veterans to some of it's great games. Perhaps its family-friendly stance has alienated hardcore gamers or just doesn't appeal to them but you simply can't say there are no good games on it at all and expect me to continue furiously masturbating here on my lovely futon without having a go at someone.

I actually recently stopped subscribing to ONM because I feel it is too childish and I can't be laughed at on the train again.
Interestingly enough, 360 magazine actually helped me get a girl's number once. No, seriously, I was on the train and she kept looking so I asked if she was interested in Gears of War 2 then we got to talking and BOOM. Number. Obviously it didn't work out in the end because I'm sitting on my lovely futon waiting for someone to say something stupid so that I can pause in the furious masturbation event that is going on, and respond to the aforementioned stupidity.

Pheew, that was tiring.

The Sunday Times uses 5 stars to review films and that's good enough for me...

Now no-one would punch you for reading NGamer, if you were talking Official Nintendo Mag they might though. That mag is so woefully written, without the slightest hint of wit or intelligence, truly. They even have fecking comedy captions on ALL the pictures, not just one, ALL. I mean how many funny jokes can you make about screenshots of a bloke dressed in plumbers outfit or a wii-mii throwing a skittle. Ill give you a clue, not many. Less than 3 in fact. Doesnt stop them trying. And no stickers ti pout on my remote dont make up for it, sorry ONM.

Anyways, Out of 10 is perhaps the best scale, a percentile is almsot too exact, so agreed on that one.

In terms of Wii, there are a handful of fine games out there, Zelda: Twighlight Princess, Mario Kart (not a patch on Double Dash though), Super Mario Galaxy and the like but the reminader are bilge.

I would like to add that a updated review page would be nice though.

Personally i just think the motion controls are a little unresponsivbe and think the pad is much much better for that game. Obviously you can play Wii veriosn with the pad but its designed for the motion controlers really.

I just think in terms of the actual tracks, the difficulty settings, the AI, DD has it. The graphics arnt even that different from the Wii version. Both great games though.
