i hav have just come over the 3 red flashing lights on my xbox 360 console! i want a free and easy way to fix the problem! i am in dior need of it as i will not get to play it till christmas! Me and my brother would be annoyed that we didnt get to play it on christmas day!HELP I REALLY NEED IT! ANY IDEAS

Ring M$. They'll send you a free label. Ring the courier. Free (As long as your in warranty) and easy.

Not quite so free but even easier.. Go to your local game emporium and exchange £129 for a brand new Core/Arcade/Tard* console.. Plug your existing HDD in..

If you bought it in Game, you can bring it back to the shop and they'll replace it for you. Otherwise it's off to Germany with your console.

Mine died 2 weeks back. Funny how so many die just before Christmas so you won't get it back in time and the only way to play those Christmas presents is to go out and buy a new one. HOW CONVENIENT MICROSOFT, HOW VERY CONVENIENT.

Mine arrived back yesterday. After being away for 20 days. A better performance than last year, but still not great. It also arrived back just in time for me going away for the weekend for work.

When my first xbox RROD, as Bob mentioned I took mine back to Gamestation.

They didn't evan look at the warranty and my original xbox was a core, they plugged it in right there on the counter, seen it rrod then gave me a premium straight from the back. No waiting around, try that way before you send it back.

Mine got ring of death yesterday after it fell from waist height last week and seemed a bit unhappy. I think the adrenaline alone kept if going for an extra 7 days. I tryed mouth to mouth but after 20 minutes I gave up and got a new one from Blockbusters as I don't think my warrenty covered my old console looking like it went a few rounds with Tyson.

You should have phoned Microsoft, they'd have arranged to have it picked up and fixed. You'd have had it back working within a week or so.
