If in doubt, put the kettle on.

Civrev is ace - but it doesnt have the longevity of earlier titles.

Plus the Multiplayer is rubbish - i tried to play a few LAN games of it - and it just breaks. Plus there is no achievement gained by playing mulitplayer - not even a decent leaderboard or end result - starcraft has better conclusions to multiplayer games and its proper old.

Stranglehold. I will praise this game to anyone who comes within earshot, the only game I have never traded in upon 100% completion.

Yeah it is one of the proper bagain bin games along weirdly with mirrors edge which I again found great fun. I love stranglehold, everything can be manipulated, fun story, explosions, gun play, great achievements. Sure the graphics aren't great but when you are having as much fun as I do with it who cares, plus zooming in on a goon's neck or balls and sniping them in slo-mo never gets old.

On the downside the DLC for it (if you want to get 1250/1250) is quite expensive for what you get (a handful of achievements and a few new multiplayer maps) and I doubt there are many people online anymore but I always offer to play it with people as I love it. Ziplining through wooden shacks as they detonate behind you, shooting rockets and dodging in slow-mo. It's like michael bay's unloved chinese stepchild.

Plus there is an achievement called "Testi-Kill" for shooting someone in the balls. What more do you need.

Agree wholeheartedly. I loved it when it came out and completed it within days. Can't believe it's relegated to bargain bin hell nowadays. Such a shame.

Sorry guys, didnt like it all that much. I thought the control sytem let it down in the end, it was unresponsive (such as when snapping to walls).

Critically it wasn't, commercially it was.

Another game that was underrated was "Prey." A bit like portal but with a better plot.

A metacritic rating of 79 would suggest that it wasn't under rated.

It's a bit like portal but with worse portal puzzles that you could only do in special portal places.. unlike Portal where you can put them anywhere.
