So what are our thoughts so far? Who do we think will win it?

Wow, must have missed all the build up to this...

Is Euro 2012 something about when the single currency ends?

I've enjoyed it so far, there have only been a couple of duff games imo. It does have to be really dire for me not like a game of footy however, as I enjoy tactical games as much as exciting goal fests. It seems it's gonna be quite an open tournament, which can only be a good thing.

I've decided to ignore the press for this one, as all there over reaction does my head in.

It's been a great tournament so far, only 2, maybe 3 dud matches.
If in doubt, put the kettle on.

The first set of games are almost always cagey affairs. The games should be a wee bit more open and expansive now, as was shown last night.

Erm.. I've got a feeling this form could field a team that would wipe the floor with the Irish.

We need to learn when to say "enough", rather than gluttonously devouring more and more of the same thing through sheer force of habit.

Meh. Ireland played really badly. Proper badly. They beat Sweden 3 0 in Sweden so they're not THAT bad.

Not that good either, mind.
If in doubt, put the kettle on.

Christ... England make it difficult for themselves.

Made for a good second half though.

I really don't think there are any rubbish teams in this tournament. Apart from the two hosts, all teams had a hard slog to qualify.

Admittedly Ireland did play badly the other night (and in there previous game), but they were up against a bloody good Spain side.

That second half in the England v Sweden match was crazy. I equally love and hate games like that, and must go thru every emotion known to mankind.

I was in the pub for the Ireland V Croatia match, after the third goal a lot of us just got up and stayed out in the smoking area...

Again, not a pretty game but England come through...

I'm impressed with their defending for once.

It wasn't a fun game to watch at all.

But a win is a win
