IF YOU THINK THE DEFINITIVE SCI-FI MOVIE IS A GULITY PLEASURE YOU SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED TO WATCH MOVIES!

Best sci fi film ever for me has to be 12 Monkeys. Stands up to repeated viewing too. Bruce Willis' best role ever and Brad Pitt was a suitable nutcase. Madeleine Stowe was amazing especially as her preconceived ideas about the world she lived in started to fracture.

Even the mighty Blade Runner was knocked sideways by it in my book. But of course it is only IMO
My conviction is born to damn the fuckers who doubted me. To rise to great heights even beyond my own legend as a Great Cocksmith, Master Pintsman, and stunningly handsome Prince of Light in these dark Dark Ages!

12 Monkeys is fantastic, but IMO it's no bladerunner.

For once Gug is on the money.

Of course you're welcome to your opinion nojdan

But Bladerunner is so influential. You can still barely watch a sci-fi film that isn't riffing in it if it isn't ripping it off.

Lets just clarify..... Guilty pleasure means the film is considered by reliable sources to be shit. Ergo Blade Runner, the absolute seminal classic, the Citizen Kane of sci-fi does not qualify.

If i was being picky id say Mean Girls didnt qualify too Bob, mostly as its widely considered to be a very good exmaple of the genre, like Clueless is. Plus its written by the brilliant Tina fey.

Keep em coming fellas. I wanna hear the embaressing shit you darnt tell people about. I wont judge.

Depends on what you'd qualify as a guilty pleasure. Does wanting to give Sean Young one qualify?

12 Monkeys is pretty cool.

Crappy films I like.

I find Bladerunner dull. But I can appreciate its seminalness. Seminality? Seminalitude? Seminalify?
If in doubt, put the kettle on.
