The story wouldn't be breaking big if it wasn't for the F1 circus.. no publicity is bad publicity and all that.

And now a chap's dead.

Reminds me of the scumbag sports teams who went to South Africa during apartheid.
If in doubt, put the kettle on.

Raikonnen is still brilliant! Couple of years away from the sport, very rarely practices, missed some of the winter testing and can still drive like a champ in a fairly mediocre car!

I don't agree with the situation in Bahrain, but surely China is far worse in terms of its human rights abuses than Bahrain. And there was zero worry about racing there. In terms of quantity if not outright blatant attacks. Since 1950 1.2 million Tibetans killed (estimated) and since 1949 its estimated China has killed 40 million of its citizens through a number of different governmental abuses. Total population of Bahrain - 1.214 million.

Then we could say, Brazil, India and others are all pretty bad.

Anywho interesting outcome for the race. 4 diff winners so far eh?

What weirdly inappropriately wrongheaded bollocks. "oh someone else has been bad therefore we should ignore it.". Bahrain govt have been actively using F1 as PR and that's ok cos Bernie gets his money.

Most Tibetan stuff happened under Mao and Xiaopeng, who are long dead. This is ongoing suppression and torture of a majority by the minority and the use of foreign soldiers (saudi) to suppress (kill) democracy protestors. It is exactly the same as apartheid. Suppose we should just have forgotten about that too?

Edit, yes, slightly drnk.
If in doubt, put the kettle on.

FAir enough. I just don't think it's a black and white issue is all Clown.

I'd never heard of Bahrain until there was F1 there.

Course it's not completely black and white. Nothing is. Except the minstrel show.
If in doubt, put the kettle on.

The McLaren pit team are a fucking disaster!!!!!!! If you thought their previous pit stop fuck-ups this season were good they've managed to better themselves by not putting enough fuel in Hamilton's car to allow him to finish qualifying!

The result - he wasnt able to return the the pit land after Q3 and a a result has been stripped of pole and will start from the back of the grid tomorrow. Someone somewhere is getting the bullet shortly!

They've not really been as tight since Ron stood down.

Bit rubbish.
