In F1 terms it's a life time. Vettel just posted the fastest pole time of all time.

Thats with out the double diffuser or 'F' duct they had last year and with a narrower rear wing then previous years.

The F duct was used last season to stall the rear wing and give more speed on the straights.

The double diffuser channles the high speed air under the car to reduce the drag and increase downforce.. these have been made smaller this year so less downforce and more drag.

Clear?

Thrilling race. Great Result.

The rule changes and new tyres are seemingly working out for an exciting season.

Congrats to Lewis who drove the wheels off it today.

Was indeed a great race, Fantastic driving from both Hamilton and Webber, But what the F**k was Button doing? I like Button but he made himself look like a right twat.

Best dry race in a long time with the new tyres DRS and KERS really doing what there supposed too. Great start by the Mclarens and win for Hamilton, Horner said Vetz early 3rd position force them to try a long 2 stop to try the jump on the Mclarens so thank god he did'nt have the chance for a 3 ala Webber cos that would of been another easy win I guess.

Possibly, possibly not. As long as Mclaren pitted at the right time and got the undercut by a lap or so Vettel probably would've stayed in third.. There's no chance now to bang in quick laps by staying out longer.

I don't watch much of this, but I did this one, as my 2 and a half year old son, saw the cars on telly and insisted upon watching it!

Happy days!

Faultless drive from Vettel yesterday. Opening a massive gap at the top of the leaderboard now.

This is true.. There's no doubting his one lap qualy pace or his race pace from teh front.. I'd like to see him prove he can do it through the pack though as last year demonstrated he's not the worlds best over taker..

Fascinating race.. Action going off all over the field, all over the race.

Great to see Button and Hamilton dueling out on the track like the pro's they are.

If Vettel wins Canada this weekend I'm going to flip. Alternative winners for me are as follows (I'm such a nerd lol ) :

Hamilton because his car is getting better and better last few races and he's best overtaker since Senna FACT.
Alonso if he can get it together in quali unlike season so far his race pace is always fast.
Button is a bit of a girl in the overtaking stakes but if he's front row he can take this.

Webber is a joke this year I have no idea why I put money on him this season and in the Red Bull as well. No excuses for this kid.

That is all.

Apparently Webber is having trouble with the Pirelli tyres.

Hamilton will win Canada. Fact.

Vettel has already had a crash. But as we've seen this doesn't mean he wont put it on pole.

Why, does Vettel get horny after a crash?
