erm this is tough.

Star Wars Kinect if it becomes the thing of dreams that it should be. Its only waving a f...ing stick for f...s sake MS why doesnt that work properly?

I'm not really a swearer so i may be doing it wrong.

Ghost recon was exciting for a while but now i have seen a gameplay video it looks rubbish.

Skyrim DLC may be the most exciting game of 2012 - how depressing.

GTA V should be amazing...

Mostly it's all about Mass Effect 3 for me.. bit worried about how the multiplayer works into the single player campaign.. I can't be doing with grinding away at a poor mans 'Horde' mode to make waging the war easier.. but then I usually play on the easiest difficulty so I can enjoy the story and play to my strengths (in this case my strengths being not being very good at games).

Mass Effect 3 so long as it doesn't turn into COD in space. Hmmm may try to program a game called that. It'd have to be about the fish though cos I'm sure that Activision would be trying to sue my pants off otherwise :P

*dons armour of anti-nerd rage*

I have to say I'm not that excited over Mass Effect 3, was left pretty disillusioned with ME2.

Was looking forward to GTAV, but from what I've heard is that some of the stuff from San An that I didn't enjoy is coming back, so my excitement has gone mild for now. Hopefully when they release some official concrete gameplay details, my excitement will peak again.

Off the top of me head I would say Max Payne and Bioshock Infinite are the ones I'm more interested in.

With a lot of big franchises having already been brought to a close hopefully 2012 will bring more in the way of new Ip's. That said, I don't mind sequels too much if there are noticable differences. One of the reasons Bioshock Infinite has me excited. But I do know what you mean.

Kingdom of Amular. The game I'm hoping will be what I wanted from Fable 3. After watching an interview with Todd Mcfarlane they're not trying to reinvent the rpg wheel. I do agree with Ct though, it looks a little too by the numbers so far.

Prey 2. Looking quite interesting and different from the norm.

Mass Effect 3. Hopefully a little more of the rpg flesh will be put back on Me2's bones.

Syndicate. If it turns out to be similar to Hr no one will hear me complain. My fingers are crossed it doesn't let me down.

GtaV. I'm still up in the air until further information is released.

Last Guardian. I never played Sotc but loved Ico.

Catherine. Intriguing looking title title, imo. Something different if nothing else.

Darkness 2. After watching the vids the game looks to have some interesting mechanics. Still have to start the original though.

Tomb Raider. Interested to see how the advertised changes turn out.

SSX.

Loved the previous games on PS2 and have been wanting a current gen version since. Hopefully it'll capture that over-the-top-ness of its predecessors whilst bringing something bigger and newer to the table too.

That's what I was thinking at first but the more I'm reminded of it the more I'm up for some fast, crazy snowboard mayhem again. it's games like that which have been seriously lacking this gen imo and with a lot more online MP it should be loads of fun.
