Baby Horoscope Personality

I am making a baby blanket for my daughter, I am using flannel fabric with basting in between that. I bought this invisible thread to sew the binding on. The binding is a satin one by Wright. The only problem is my thread keeps breaking. I think I need a different type of thread or better quality. What would you recommend?
