Plus the mo-caopped faces look incredible, a huge step forward.

I am sincerely hoping Rockstar take a leaf out of Deadly Premonitions book.. regarding how to craft the whole murder investigation stuff.

Jeronimo Barrera, Rockstar's VP of Product Development wrote:The goal of the game is to be the best detective you can possibly be, so each case eventually ends with you solving the case correctly and rising through the ranks of the LAPD. How you get there is determined by the choices you make through the case, leading you down separate paths on your way to each break in the case. Your effectiveness at solving cases will be determined by how quickly you can use what you find to solve a case. Scouring a crime scene for clues is just one part of solving a case quickly.
Discovering different clues may open up different leads to new locations or suspects, which in turn open up new options for a player to decide how to go about solving a case. But that's only part of the challenge: during interrogations, players must correctly analyze a suspect in order to get the most information from them, and know which evidence to present and when to present it to get the answers they need.

{brags} I've completed 5 games this year and am half way through Dead Space 2 - go Team Corridor Shooter Revival!

I'm looking forward to V without a doubt, buggy or not, it's been a long time coming.

Gears 3, it'll be the stalwart instalment leaving the franchise open to lucrative spin-offs - we haven't had a prequel yet or Gears:TNG etc...

ME 3 - its gonna rock, needs a beeping android to really round it off.

Portal 2 of course, Valve need something to cushion the blow of L4D 3.

On my personal watch list is X-COM - 50s X-Files? Could be good.

Batman 2 goes without saying; if it builds on the merits of Asylum, what could go wrong?

If the soundtrack to Deus Ex is as good as the original, that'll do me. Tangerine Dream anyone?

Still unconvinced about DNF. I don't doubt Gearbox's prowess but a game crafted for a 90's Gen X might be a little out of place - imagine a Spice Girls revival tour...nuff said.

I dunno about DNF

I reckon that it's just what is needed right now. Most FPS are far too serious, with the exception of the fine Matt Hazard. So a bit of irreverance is needed

My thoughts exactly. It's time to stop with the overrated po-faced military FPS's and get back to the sort of thing that made me fall in love with the genre in the first place. God, I'm so downloading and playing through Duke Nukem 3D again soon!
