Is Ico within the past 10 years? Seems like eons ago...

Mine would be:

1. Oblivion
2. Bioshock
3. Mass Effect
4. Half Life 2
5. Morrowind

Yeah. I think you're pretty safe with anything PS2 based.. It was released here Nov 2000 and as far as I remember nothing was worth playing until Q4 2001.

Ico itself was 2001. I'll be checking any suspect nominations on Wikipedia (cos we all know that never lies) so feel free to shout if you see any more.

Oh and LBP is out and GTA III is in. Surely the most influential game of the decade?

Sorry but I cant sacrifice any of mine for GTAIII. Great game but it had too many annoyances to make it into my top 5.

5. God of War
4. Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath
3. Mass Effect
2. Shadow of the Colossus
1. Metal Gear Solid 3

This may change at one point.

Edit: Only putting one game per series in.

- Oblivi(oowopbopbahoowop)on. Dunno why. It just wowed me.
- GTA III. What Bob said.
- Call of Duty 4. Introduced me to the world of multiplayer. Gave me the raging horn.
- Dragon Quest VII. I think it's 7. It could be 8. Whichever one was on the PS2. Best JRPG I've played by a mile. Cor Blimey guv.
- FIFA 2009. Greatest sports game ever created.

Left out Ico (never played it), Shadow of the Colossus (It was ok), Mass Effect (something a little to clean about it), KOTOR (never played it), Super Mario Galaxy (it's on the wii), various Zeldas (Zelda is shit) and a load of others that aren't nearly as good as they think, especially the one with Greenfaced Tit in them.
If in doubt, put the kettle on.

Top selling games from 2000 till 2009.........check out how many of them are from Nintendo!?

Proof that the casual gamer still outnumber the hardcore by fecking miles!

No particular order, I really can't decide....

COD4... Same reason as ClT, it broke that MP cherry.

Mass Effect... Again something new to me- RPG's. The sheer depth of everything blew me away and I was immediately glued to the 360.

Ninja Gaiden... Such amazing, flowing combat with AI that could actually fight like a real person made it more than just a button basher- you had to think to get past every single enemy.

Pro Evo 4 or 5... Can't remember which of those it was one of them was definatley ISS at its best. Lots of late nights playing with my mate, getting tw@ted and making lightning fast counter attacks made it certainly one of my most memorable from the last decade.

Forza 2... After years of Gran Torismo and the formula getting a bit stale through it just getting bigger and a bit better looking, finding Forza with it's far better handling and online features refreshed my love for race sims.

8. I loved that too and it's probably Level 5s best game. Yangus was an amazing character

No Order:

Portal
- Totally loved it and was mind blowingly unique*

Half Life 2
- Best FPS of the decade.

Team Fortress 2
- Best multiplayer FPS of the decade, most played game of the decade ( I'm on something close to 26 days ... )

Oblivion
- Brilliant western RPG.

Call of Duty 2 - Do I need to explain this?
