Seriously though - did anyone get on with PDZ? Its just so flat and slow as a game - like a bad platform shooter but with 'areas' to move through.

Sorry, but I totally loved PDZ
My brother and I would spend hours on end playing that infection game mode (Which halo3 then came along and nicked). Plus, it was the first game I'd played in ages with bots!
8.5 / 10

Aaah your mum got you a playmate eh? I didnt get one of those. I got a sister and now a g/f - they arent into PDZ :(

Well yes, i think part of what ground Hicks gears about Leary was that he nicked alot of material (the Jim Phixx stuff is a great example), did it worse than Hicks and managed to be more popular than Hicks ever was...

Oh and i broke 7000 the other day, 10 is my next traget...i have doubled my efforts...

I should say here that I've never seen Hicks perform.. Just read his material.

I've got the No Cure for Cancer DVD and it's very funny. I like Leary.

His stuff is much better off the page and in action, his best cds IMO, are Shock and Awe (recorded in Oxford), Dangerous and Rant in E Minor. Get yourself some off Ebay its worth the money.

In terms of filmed shows they dont represnt his best stuff as its all on CD for some reason.

What you dont pick up on the page as good as the written stuff is, is his delivery and passion. No comedian ive ever seen/heard was as comfortable on stage as Hicks, this is mostly due to the fact he performed 300 shows a year, not 25 like most of these big guys these days. He was so confident he didnt just go out and blurt his material he would just stop sometimes and muse.
