24 hour Bank Holiday gaming marathon.

Postby Bob on Tue Apr 28, 2009 6:43 am

I'm considering having a 24 gaming marathon on Saturday.

I figure I start when I get home from work on saturday and play through until the same time sunday. I've got Monday off too recover.

My questions are two fold.

1. What supplies do you think I'll need to get through it?

2. If anybody is about for some Live/PSN play let me know and I'll pencil you in to the diary.

Other than a pile of games and a pen and paper so I can make notes of what I'm playing (for the blog) it should be pretty straight forward no?

Redbull.... about 12 can's depending on how caffeine sensitive you are...

Different types of games so you don't get bored and think "fuck it, i can't be bothered with playing this AGAIN"...

Music saved on the HDD...

and a bed pan.

I guessed the Red Bull! But not the amount..

I'll list the games on Friday for you too look over.

I've got over 8000 songs on the Mac Book so I was going to set it on shuffle and see where it took me.

Mac book is a good idea!..

List the games and i may hook up with you, maybe even for 24 hours...

As for the number for redbull's... i have a kinda immunity from them. It takes about 3 before i start to feel any effect. Year's of abusing the drink will do that to you.

I enjoy the odd tea, i prefer my coffee.. but it has to be coffee shop coffee.

Drinking it at home's just not the same, i've always prefered cold drinks.

Race Pro finish career and on Live on 360
GTA IV on 360 finish story

Fuck redbull. Relentless is where it's at.

I've never had relentless, what's it like?

I sometimes get aching eyes after playing games for 5 hours straight, you might wanna watch out for that if you are prone to it.

Not much difference, it's just in a bigger can and tastes different.

Both are essentially the same product though.

I assume you're taking a break to watch "Britain's Got Talent" though?! :o

Surely you're not planning on missing this fantabulous show which - let's face it - you yourself did start a thread about (although if YOU hadn't, I probably would have anyway  )?!
