My friend very recently spent €3,200 on an MX17 Alienware laptop, mainly for gaming, although a laptop that powerful he's pretty much sorted for anything he wants to do computing wise. And the fact it's 3D is made redundant by the fact he already has a 42 Inch 3D Tellie! Gaming is expensive.

It's when smell-o-vision arrives it loses its appeal.

Look at the date, it's back when i was a shift manager for a large firm and earning a small fortune and had about £1k disposable income each month. Before i got laid off, before the economy went tit's up and before i started to get shitty job offers that i'm not happy doing and before i lost my fiancee because i spent all my time at work..

I'm now trying to balance things a bit better.

I feel really bad for bumping this now..

I thought the next gen tag was interesting as we're sizing up for another next gen.

Fair enough Wolf.

Although one thing I will point out is how I blatantly did look at the date and expressed as such. Just sayin'.

He uses the the TV as the monitor for his desktop... He's only waiting for some free 3D porn, and when it's out I quote "I'll have it in full swing then".

So Bob the answer to your question is yes... and no.

No worries mate, that's just one of those things that really gets under my skin. I've always worked very hard and seen a lot of people come and go over the years that dont want to work and i'd hate to be lumped with them. :P
