My friend very recently spent €3,200 on an MX17 Alienware laptop, mainly for gaming, although a laptop that powerful he's pretty much sorted for anything he wants to do computing wise. And the fact it's 3D is made redundant by the fact he already has a 42 Inch 3D Tellie! Gaming is expensive.

Look at the date, it's back when i was a shift manager for a large firm and earning a small fortune and had about £1k disposable income each month. Before i got laid off, before the economy went tit's up and before i started to get shitty job offers that i'm not happy doing and before i lost my fiancee because i spent all my time at work..

I'm now trying to balance things a bit better.

No worries mate, that's just one of those things that really gets under my skin. I've always worked very hard and seen a lot of people come and go over the years that dont want to work and i'd hate to be lumped with them.
