2010 Predictions For The Year

X360 wishes you a happy holiday and wants to know how you’d rate the year that was 2009

As  2009 comes to a close it’s time to take a look back over the year and come to lots of arbitrary and probably useless conclusions. But we’ll discuss it nonetheless because at the beginning of last year we had a very different perception of the videogames industry than we do right now. For one thing, we thought 2009 would top 2008, it didn’t. At the start of the year we didn’t think Microsoft and Sony would ever release a motion control device to compete with the Wii, now that looks to dominate the future.

From meh to yeah

With all the games that were scheduled and eventually shifted to 2010, the landscape has been under constant change, but overall we’d say the year was slightly ‘Meh’ with individual pockets of ‘oh yeah!’ How does everyone else feel about this? Did ODST disappoint, did MW2 shock? Will 2010 mark the best year this console generation has to offer or was that this year?
