‘ooh sexy game’ – Weird Google searches that brought people to this Xbox site

Does Google direct people to X360Magazine.com when they search for stuff like “Xbox”, “games” and “Halo”? Well, sometimes yes. But often the search terms that have brought folk to our humble domain are rather more surprising. I’ve trawled through our traffic data and picked out a dozen of the weirdest and funniest.

Remember, these are all absolutely genuine. Real people really did submit these exact searches to Google then, for some reason, decided to click on a link to this very site.

I love how expressive this one is. Someone was so enthused by the idea of finding a sexy game on the internet that they couldn’t help but type ‘ooh’ as they submitted the search.

There is actually a fairly sensible reason why someone might have used this particular search term, but we’re not letting on because it’s funnier if you don’t know it.

Another Google user who didn’t just want to tell the search engine what he (or much less likely, she) was looking for, but wanted to exclaim how he felt about it at the same time.

What? What!? Where to begin with this one… Are three babes just not enough any more? Exactly what kind of advice did this person expect to find? And what made them think X360 had the answers?

I just tried this search for myself and Google insisted I must mean ‘past’ not ‘paste’. But I’d like to think this Google user did mean ‘paste’ and had something totally unfathomable in mind.

I’d never thought about which game character had the sexiest back before. In fact, no one has – this exact phrase could not be found by Google. But now that I think about it, I’d have to say Seth from Lost Odyssey.

The mind boggles. I suppose the internet is useful for planning ahead… in all areas of your life, but… but… it’s just such an odd question for someone to need answers to. And the answer could not be found on X360… until now. I would have to say that in general, no; but in games, yes.
