Oh, LucasArts you do know how to win us over...
We've not tried to hide the fact that pretty much every person on team X360 is a massive fan of the old point and click Monkey Island adventure games. It was a dream come true when LucasArts HD'd up the original and let it loose over Live. It seems most of you agreed with us and now we're happy to report that the sequel, Le Chuck's Revenge will be available later ...
Evening, all! Word has been sent through the great Xbox 360 grapevine that Slick Entertainment's racer Scrap Metal will touch down this week for a mere 1200 Microsoft Points. Well, mere by modern standards, anyway. The game itself is somewhat of an odd mix between Twisted Metal and, say, Micro Machines, challenging players to compete in armed vehcles for the title of top racer. A prestigious one indeed, that.
Good bye Tomb Raider and hello Lara Croft... again
Square Enix came out today and announced that Crystal Dynamics, long running saviours of the Tomb Raider games, is working on a new title. The 'hinting at a reboot' Lara Croft And The Guardian Of Light is going to be interesting for a few reasons. Firstly, because it's a reboot of a much loved franchise and secondly because it won't be a traditional release ...
Rather pleasingly, although that rumoured build of GoldenEye running on the 360 looks set to prove the biggest tease since Ryo in Sonic & Sega's All-Star Racing…
Microsoft's promotional arm seems to know no restraint. Not content with accepting the calendar as it is, they seem to have taken to renaming the very seasons themselves according to what Live Arcade games are out at the time…
With news regarding Halo: Reach literally pouring out of the Internet, it's safe to say that Bungie's evolved combat series is as popular as ever. Despite critical success cooling with each subsequent release, the Halo franchise has arguably gone from strength to strength. Now, with it's own online portal giving gamers direct access to Halo content, Waypoint is the first of its kind.
X360 caught up with 343 Industries franchise development director, Frank O’Connor and lead producer Jason Pace to find ...
It has been announced today that a grand total of 17 Billion hours have been spent by gamers on Xbox Live, ever since the service launched on the Original Xbox. That sounds like a pretty impressive figure, but we reckon at least 25% or so of this figure will have been achieved thanks to pure idleness. After all, how many times have you just left your console running, either on the dashboard or whatever game while you made tea or, ybe, ...
It's not often the world receives word of an Live Arcade release quite so far in advance as we've heard Chime is coming to town. Produced by Zoe Mode down in Brighton alongside charitable gaming foundation onebiggame, it's essentially a cross of Lumines with, well just about any regular puzzle game you could imagine. Anyway, 60% of the title's admittedly low price will go to Save The Children and the Starlight Children's Foundation, an organisation that helps seriously ill children. Go ...

There's a good chance you've never heard of this week's entry, though it's likely to have appeared on just about any console you could name.
240 Microsoft Points, apparently. Childhood songs would probably be about 400% less interesting nowadays, thanks in part to articles such as these. Starting from today, Xbox Live members can buy a set of virtual pets for their avatar; just another entry in a long line of items that amount to being sold next to nothing. Sigh. If the profit margin on these things is less than 90%, we're a monkey's uncle. For the record, available right now are: Large Dog, Pug ...
